Giselle Crombie
Administrator
Before joining Sunshine Kids Pediatric Giselle worked in Healthcare Administration serving as a liaison between Patient Access, Billing, Medical Records and Case Management. She spent her time focusing on operational development and company regulations.
This role gave her the opportunity to assist patients from the beginning of the scheduling process through to the time of service. Here she was able to build relationships with the patients, helping them to understand the hospital process and providing them with information on resources available to them.
Ready for a change focused on improving lives, she was excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the team. She is determined to make a safe environment and second home to the children of Sunshine Kids Pediatric Center.
Alexa Zaragoza
Alexa is a licensed occupational therapist who has been working in various pediatric settings for almost 10 years. She is a graduate of Florida International University and has worked in the greater Miami area, Texas, and Broward County in the more recent years. She began her leadership journey in San Antonio, Texas where she was a therapy supervisor. Within a few years of returning to Florida, she began working as a staff occupational therapist at Sunshine. Soon after, she moved into the Administrator role. She continues to have a passion for treating children with special needs but wants to pursue her leadership goals. Working at Sunshine provides her with the ability to be immersed in the population of children she has loved to serve while simultaneously allowing her to lead a team of dedicated therapists, nurses, and other staff members.
